The AKC has 5 Titles for Trick Dogs to earn. Cookie has earned 4 trick titles so far and here is our routine for the 5th trick title called the Elite Performer Title. She earned the Elite Performer Title!
Trick training dogs is probably one of my favorite things to do. There are so many benefits to it as well! It teaches you both to focus, to work together as a team and it is FUN! It really helps to build the relationship between dog and owner, that I feel obedience training alone doesn’t achieve. It also helps to build confidence in the dog, and maybe the owner too! It is a great way to exercise the dog’s muscles and their brain.
