“Paws Up” is a good foundation trick to use to teach other tricks, such as “rotate” or “say your prayers” which will be coming soon!
Trick training helps build the bond between you and your dog. Trick training also helps your dog to focus, which will help in other areas of your training, such as obedience training. Trick training is good exercise, both mentally and physically and can even help build better muscle tone. I think trick training should be considered an essential part of good dog care.
